Why make complex work harder than it already is?

If you’re toiling in an organization with rigid hierarchies, work silos, consistently delayed projects that run over budget, I get it. I’ve been there. When I got introduced to Scrum, it was a revelation that turned the traditional project management I was familiar with on its head. Even more exciting was that Scrum worked the first time I implemented its framework with a team. It can transform your team too, and I can show you how.

As a framework, Scrum is simple and easy to understand. It’s also difficult to master. But once you see how effectively self-organizing, Agile teams can deal with unpredictability and complex problems, you will be excited to see how much more you can achieve.

I’m a Professional Scrum Trainer, which means I belong to a select group of Scrum experts who have gone through an extensive set of peer reviews, testing, training, and interviews before being accepted. The training materials are maintained and improved collaboratively by the Scrum.org community along with its founder Ken Schwaber, the co-creator of Scrum.

I am also a Certified Scrum Professional through Scrum Alliance and a Certified Agile Practitioner and Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Scrum Training imageOver the past three years, I’ve trained more than 1000+ people in the Professional Scrum Master and Professional Scrum Foundations courses. It’s been extremely gratifying to put my keen communication, teamwork, and facilitation skills to use in helping others adopt and improve their Scrum knowledge and skills.

  • I received the 2015 GTEC Leadership Award for my role in the Agile transformation at the Canada Revenue Agency.
  • During the past 28 years, I’ve held project management roles on six large-scale projects, all with more than 22 interfacing applications, over multiple years with budgets of over $100 million each.
  • I’m one of just 18 certified Professional Scrum Trainers in Canada and one of 25 women certified globally.
  • I am a Course Steward partner for the Scrum.org Professional Scrum Foundations course, lead the PST Candidate mentoring program and I am an Inspection Event Checker for the Scrum.org pilot program.
